When Alton-Brooke was founded in 1988, the goal was simple: to bring exceptional textiles to the world's most beautiful interiors.
Over the years, the company has grown into one of the most respected names within the interior design industry, representing a carefully curated collection of fabric, wallpaper, trimming, leather and rug suppliers from around the world. Yet the philosophy has remained unchanged. Great design begins with great materials.
From our showroom at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, we work closely with interior designers, architects and private clients, helping them discover collections that combine craftsmanship, creativity and enduring quality.
What makes Alton-Brooke different is not simply the products we represent, but the relationships we have built over more than three decades. Many of the textile houses we work with are family-owned businesses with generations of expertise behind them. Their collections tell stories of traditional craftsmanship, innovation and a passion for design that mirrors our own.
The interior design world has changed considerably since 1988, but the desire for beautifully made fabrics and decorative materials remains constant. Whether it is a country house, a London townhouse, a boutique hotel or an international project, designers continue to seek materials that bring character, texture and individuality to a space.
At Alton-Brooke, we see ourselves as curators. Our role is to discover remarkable collections and connect them with the designers who will transform them into extraordinary interiors.
More than thirty-five years after opening our doors, we remain inspired by the creativity of the design community and by the makers whose work continues to set the standard for excellence.
The story of Alton-Brooke is ultimately a story about craftsmanship, relationships and a shared belief that the finest interiors begin with the finest materials.
