Carpet Design

Founder Peter has been sourcing exceptional rugs from India and the Middle East since the 1970s. He previously owned boutiques in Paris and a store within Liberty London, collaborating closely with skilled artisans to create unique designs and statement pieces for interiors.

For over 20 years, Peter has curated rug collections and developed a passion for bespoke design. They work closely with clients at every stage of the process, from initial concept and colour selection to materials and weaving techniques, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.

Whether refining an existing design or creating something entirely original, each rug is thoughtfully crafted to bring the client’s vision to life through a personalised, design-led approach.

Bespoke Fabrics

Our bespoke fabrics are developed by Peter and David, who work closely together on each project. With years of experience in sourcing and production, they collaborate with trusted mills to create fabrics tailored to specific interiors.

Each project starts with a simple idea, whether it’s a colour, a texture or a reference, and is gradually refined through sampling and development.

Whether for upholstery, curtains or other soft furnishings, the aim is to create something that feels considered and appropriate to the space. The result is a fabric that is both practical and well suited to its setting.

How to Create a Bespoke Rug or Fabric

If you’re considering a bespoke rug or fabric for a project, the process is straightforward and collaborative.

1. Initial Enquiry. Share a brief overview of your project, including dimensions, timeline, and any references or ideas you may have.

2. Design Direction. We’ll review your requirements and begin exploring design options,

whether for a bespoke rug or fabric, refining an existing reference or developing something entirely original.

3. Material & Colour Development. Together, we’ll refine materials, textures, and colours, with samples provided where needed to ensure everything works within the scheme.

4. Sampling & Approval. Where appropriate, strike-offs or samples can be produced for approval before moving into full production.

5. Production. Once confirmed, the rug or fabric is produced by our established workshops, with careful attention to quality and detail throughout.

6. Delivery. The finished piece is delivered ready for installation, with timelines confirmed at the outset.
