Curators of Exceptional Fabrics Since 1988
Zibeline
Zibeline takes its name from the historic “zibeline” textiles cherished in 18th- and 19th-century France, originally inspired by the soft, luxurious sheen of sable fur. These fabrics were prized for their dense, flowing surface and deep warmth, often used in aristocratic interiors and fine winter garments. Antoine d’Albiousse reinterprets this tradition through a contemporary woven textile that echoes the plush, fur-like hand and elegant drape of classic zibeline. Zibeline brings a sense of historic French luxury into today’s interiors with a beautifully soft, timeless presence.
